Our contribution to eradicate poverty and malnutrition

Rearing a milk cow is very common among the villagers of Srilanka and it has been identified as a charasteristic feature in providing milk as a nitritious food for the house holds as well as an option to earn extra income by selling excess milk to neighbours.

Hence our effort here is to encourage donors to consider offering a cow that gives 2-3 ltrs of milk per day to a poor family enabling them to obtain milk for their use and earn around LKR 75-100 as an additional daily income which would be ensure food/health/education security of the house holds.Most of the exsisting Small dairy farmers are willing to dispose such animals to potential individual where a good such animal would cost from 35000-45000 LKR.

This would be a great helping hand to propoor families in marginalized communities.We invite the nobles who could share this effort with assured follow up informations.
